I don’t know about you, but every time I attend a film festival I walk away with inference. So far, I’ve got my mind set on producing a short film of my own for an upcoming event. I also plan on offering my services to an additional project spearheaded by a peer for the sake of reel networking, team collaboration, and diversifying my portfolio.
There’s no better form of communication than a story. It makes all of the difference in the world for comprehension and will render you a great film — if you can hone it in script. Short films cause creative pistons to go off in my mind to the point that this weekend I could hardly exit the theater without typing concepts into my phone.
Above are several film festival dates that are accepting or will soon be accepting film submissions for their next event. I’ve borne the list out until November, so even I have time to compose, film, and edit the right project.
